Elastic spider coupling
1.Product presentation:
Elastic spider coupling is a common elastic
coupling, it transmits torque by mechanical structure, and uses the
intermediate elastic spider to compensate misalignment. This product features
small structural size, light weight and high transmission torque. Coupling with
elastic spider is a torque elastic coupling, the claw shaped teeth of two
coupling halves stagger by half a tooth pitch on the circumference, with an
elastic spider inlaid in their gap, and the connection of driver with the
driven machine is realized by the elastic spider between the claws of the
coupling halves. Coupling with elastic spider has the fail-safe protection
function, can effectively damp and reduce the vibration and impact during
operation, and effectively correct the axial, radial and angular installation
deviation.

3.Product development:
The elastic body of an ordinary elastic
coupling is subjected to bending stress and pressure due to the existence of
installation deviation, making it easy to wear and shortening the service life
of the coupling. In a elastic spider coupliner, the elastic spider, with
its drum shaped teeth design, is only subjected to pressure during service,
therefore it can withstand higher load and transmit larger torque, and the
maximum torsion angle of the spider can be 3-5°. The elastic spider is
resistant to wear, oil, oxidation and aging, and its water resistance makes it
suitable in tropical climate areas.
Presently, our products are in two categories, one is for axial inserted mounting without the need of nut, suitable to applications with small operation space and unit with protective shield; the other is for use in heavy machinery, with its structure able to realize radial mounting and dismantling without moving the machine.
